Setka Cup and Prague Table Tennis Association have become partners

Setka Cup, the international sports platform for table tennis development, and the Prague Table Tennis Association in the Czech Republic have signed an agreement of mutual support. It implies that Setka Cup’s daily table tennis tournaments receive official recognition and support in the EU. The parties agreed to work together to organize sports and educational table tennis events.

“We are going to drive table tennis in Central Europe and strengthen our position on the international level. In collaboration with the Prague Table Tennis Association, we became one step closer to reaching the goal of efficient development and popularization of table tennis in Europe,” said the Setka Cup international tournaments organizers.

The collaboration also helps Setka Cup tournaments involve professional athletes, such as Jindrich Pansky, double silver medalist of the world championship and participant of the Olympic Games. Other top-notch athletes like Marek Cihak, Jaromir Zlamal, Krystof Prida, and David Prusa have already become players of Setka Cup tournaments in Prague.

The president of the Prague Table Tennis Association believes that the partnership will benefit both parties. “I’m really proud that we have partnered with the Setka Cup sports platform in Prague. We expect that our cooperation will allow our athletes to compete with high-performing players and prepare themselves for top sports matches. We plan to develop sports education and promote table tennis coaching in the Czech Republic and Prague in particular. I believe that the Setka Cup international platform is going in the right direction, and I’m glad that the Federation is part of it,” said Milos Vojacek, the Prague Table Tennis Association president.

In May 2021, the Setka Cup announced the launch of the first arena in the European Union. Currently, the platform in the capital of the Czech Republic hosts 4 table tennis tournaments every day and has 100 registered participants.

The Setka Cup Prague tournaments’ organizer is sure that this collaboration will bring both parties success and help the players achieve successful sports results. “I’m honored that we’ve managed to create such a project together and that the Prague Table Tennis Association is part of it. The collaboration upholds our growth,” said Setka Cup Prague tournaments organizer Michal Mezera.

Setka Cup also provides live streaming of all matches, latest news, match reviews, and interviews with athletes on its own channel Setka Cup TV
